The Sawdust Theatre proudly present for the 2025 Season:
“Recipe for Disaster” or “Camilla’s Culinary Quandary”
The Play was written for the Sawdust Theatre by Cindy Robnett and Edna Cotner and is loosely based on local philanthropist Camilla Reitman and her family. Mrs. Reitman is remembered fondly in Coquille for her generosity in providing scholarships at Coquille High School, and assisting in the building of the new theater and more. The play is being directed by Nancy Wilson and Assistant Kendall Roberts.
The olios are directed by Stephanie Kreutzer and Assistant Chloe Stevenson and the acts will be lavish. The dancers will be dressed in cancan costumes, various other costumes and more for each of the OLIO presentations.
Synapsis of 2025 Play
The dastardly villain Leopold Lecher comes to Coquelle City in search of the lost Sixes gold.
It is traced to the basement of the Lorenz Dry Goods Store, where the lovely Camilla has caught his eye.
Will the handsome young dentist be able to foil the plot at the Coquelle City Cotillion Ball?
Or will Mayhem ensue?

Henry Lorenz – A father who knows the value of a dollar
Frederick Lorenz – A brother who marches to his own beat
Leopold Lecher – A villain who shops for gold
Or-Vile Krunk – A lackey who is itchin’ for a cure
